Raise the Bar Dog Training offers a puppy training program for puppies 8 weeks old to 16 weeks old. This reward based training program can help ANY pup, no matter the breed or size. We always recommend starting training the moment you bring your new puppy home. They are ready to learn right away!
Our professional dog trainer will teach your canine good behavior and solid obedience commands both inside and outside of the home in new environments. Socialization is always part of our puppy training class, we want you to have a dog you can take anywhere!

Do you have a new puppy? Puppies are lots of fun… but sometimes they test our patience, too! We’ll help you teach your dog positive behaviors and prevent unwanted behavior. Our training methods have been proven to work for over 3 decades!
What Do We Teach Your Puppy?
At Raise the Bar Dog Training we give you customized training advice on addressing any behavior problems that may already have popped up, including any severe behavior issues like aggression or anxiety. Most importantly, we teach you how to establish a good relationship with your puppy now, so that when your puppy is full grown, they will already understand how to listen to you!
When your puppy is young, you have a huge opportunity to shape their future behavior by establishing appropriate behaviors and relationships. This doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the puppy months, but don’t forget that your puppy will be a full grown dog (with full grown behaviors!) before you know it.
We’ll teach you what to expect from your puppy as they grow older, how your relationship influences their behavior, and how to take a proactive approach to shaping their budding behavior patterns. Since we do this right there in your home, all of this advice is customized to your specific puppy, and your unique situation.
You’ll learn the foundation you need to prevent bad behaviors in the future, but if you decide to continue training with us, we do offer our puppy training program participants can move up to our in-home training programs for older dogs and we apply the puppy training fee towards other programs.
